Module 5 follows the Air Boss through show day itself, starting with the mandatory Participants Safety Briefing: every FAA-required element, from time hacks and altimeter settings to emergency authority and IMSAFE self-certification, plus the delivery technique that gives a briefing its authority. It covers specialty briefings for parachute and formation acts, pre-performance communications and site checks, systematically scanning the Flying Display Area, managing the one-act-at-a-time performance window, ground activity control, the six triggers for stopping a show, aircraft emergency procedures, and the loss-of-life protocol that closes out post-performance duties.
