This opening segment introduces Air Boss 102, the ICAS recurrency course for current Air Boss Letter of Authorization (LOA) holders. It lays out what the day covers, who it’s for, and why renewal training exists even for experienced air bosses: regulations change, incidents produce lessons, and the FAA expects continuing education, not a one-time credential.
You’ll get a walkthrough of the 10 required modules, from accident review through standardized phraseology, and a sense of how the course is structured and assessed.
Air Boss 102 is the ICAS Air Boss Recognition Program (ABRP) recurrency course for current Basic Air Boss (BAB), Standard Air Boss (SAB), Recognized Air Boss / Single Venue (RAB/SV), and Recognized Air Boss / Multiple Venue (RAB/MV) Letter of Authorization holders. It satisfies the recurrency topics required under ABRP Manual Section 11(a)(vi).
